“I shot him": Trial for former Las Vegas officer reveals bizarre details

The trial for a former Las Vegas police officer accused of shooting her former son-in-law is already revealing bizarre details that lead up to the crime. Most of the things mentioned in the video are things I didn't even want to type: 8NewsNow reported on the details that were safe enough to print:

The jury trial of a former Las Vegas cop accused of killing her ex-son-in-law began Monday, with her defense claiming the victim was a dangerous, deviant, porn-addict.

A jury trial began Monday for a woman accused of shooting and killing her former son-in-law in 2019. Pamela Bordeaux, 60, is charged with murder with the use of a deadly weapon.

Bordeaux is also a retired Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department detective.

The 8 News Now Investigators previously obtained police body camera video showing Bordeaux surrendering to police after the deadly shooting on April 22, 2019.

“I shot him,” Bordeaux told officers.

Sean Babbitt, 32, was on a court-approved visit with his child, according to police documents. His ex-wife and son were upstairs while he and Bordeaux were downstairs, police said.

Prosecutors said Bordeaux shot Babbitt at least ten times.
