This is a result of the jury finding Donald Trump guilty on multiple felonies linked to alleged hush money paid to Stormy Daniels. Many Americans believe that no matter what was said in the trial, even in Trump's favor, that he was destined to lose this. There's just too many political ties to this trial that man people also believe was a sham and a way to stop Trump from being on the campaign trail.
