Pickup truck does burnouts on pride flag, cops seeking suspect

A video going around social media shows a pickup truck doing burnouts on a pride flag that's painted in the street. It's unclear why anyone would be dumb enough to paint a flag in the street where it's distracting to drivers and is going to be messed up as soon as traffic hits it. Either way, this truck burned some rubber on the pride flag painted in the street in Fort Lauderdale. Most of the reactions directed to the video were people saying good things about the driver and wanting he or she to get an award. However, there's the other side of it. CBS 12 says reporters are looking for the person who defaced the flag, which makes no sense because the flag is painted in the street and people are going to drive on it no matter what. If anything, the person who painted it in the road should be arrested for vandalism. CBS 12 reported:

Investigators released surveillance video in an effort to find the driver who defaced an LGBTQ+ pride mural in Fort Lauderdale. The video shows a black Ford F-250 pickup truck doing a burnout on the colorful street mural along State Road A1A and Seabreeze Boulevard on Feb. 28.There appear to be at least two people involved. In the video, one person opens the front passenger door of the truck, and interacts with the driver before walking to the side of the road. The driver then puts the truck in gear and spins the tires on the mural. After the smoke clears from the burnout, the second person hops into the pickup truck and the driver pulls away.
