Donald Trump confirms that he would love Elon Musk's help in cutting down the size of the government and therefore reducing government spending. There are probably tons of government jobs that we don't actually need. Elon Musk cut a huge portion of Twitter/X's workforce and X works just fine. Trump believes he can do the same thing to the American government and reduce pointless jobs that do nothing but waste money.
