Jason Chaffetz said something really stupid on Fox News and it got him mocked all over social media by people on both sides of politics. Chaffetz said: "We went to go buy a turkey today. It was $90! It’s all a choice by Joe Biden" but there's no evidence this guy spent $90 on a turkey. Maybe his whole bill cost $90, but I can't find a supermarket where any turkey is costing $90. I've been around the block of supermarkets a few times and they're always on sale this time of the year. Plus if you're a member at the supermarket, you can often get your turkey for free by turning in your shopper points. I think Shop Rite still does this.
The prices for things are definitely out of control though. Everything is way too expensive and it's ridiculous. We need to get this under control.
