Here's another video of the terrifying cloud from HELL that appeared after the chemical plant explosion in Texas. I can't imagine what those people experienced at the scene of the explosion and I am pretty sure the people in the surrounding area were scared and freaked out too. Like holy crap man, what if you were just waking up to this and it was like WWIII in your backyard. Scary stuff!! USA Today reported on the Texas explosion, saying the following in a news report:
A fiery explosion at a chemical plant in east Texas on Wednesday sent a plume of smoke over the area as residents were asked to shelter in place, officials said.Officials in San Jacinto County said people should avoid the plant in Shepherd, Texas, a city of just over 2,000 people. The cause of the explosion was not immediately known.San Jacinto Office of Emergency Management said residents in a 5-mile radius should shelter in place, but later reduced the radius to 1 mile. A private school near the plant had been safely evacuated, the agency said.Photos and video posted to social media showed a large plume of dark smoke billowing up from the area, and flames continued to burn in live local news footage from KPRC-TV.
