Letitia James tried talking up her side of the story as Trump takes the stand in civil trial

New York Attorney General Letitia James was speaking out against former President Donald Trump and it seemed like she was trying to scare him or his side of the law. Trump is taking the stand today in the civil lawsuit brought on by James, but Trump denies any wrong-doing. Fox News reported on what's going on, saying the following in a news article about Donald Trump's civil lawsuit brought on by James. The report said:

James, a Democrat, sued Trump, his children and the Trump Organization last year, alleging he and his company misled banks and others about the value of his assets. James claimed the former president’s children – Donald Trump Jr., Ivanka and Eric – as well as his associates and businesses, committed "numerous acts of fraud and misrepresentation" on their financial statements. James also claimed Trump and his family "inflated" their net worth "by billions of dollars."

The judge presiding over the trial, New York Judge Arthur Engoron, in September, ruled that Trump and the Trump Organization committed fraud while building his real estate empire by deceiving banks, insurers and others by overvaluing his assets and exaggerating his net worth on paperwork used in making deals and securing financing.
