Clay Travis will bet $1 million that High School boys can beat WNBA champs

Clay Travis is willing to put it on the line when it comes to this, and what does Clay Travis know about anything? He's only been covering sports for years, so clearly he knows a thing or two. Clay Travis said "A good state championship level boys high school team would absolutely SMOKE the WNBA champions.” That was from back in February when Clay Travis first said it, but it resurfaced this week when Chelsea Gray (who?) called Clay Travis a "dumb-ss" for his comment.

Who is Chelsea Gray? Exactly, no one knows who this chick is, but apparently she plays for the Las Vegas Aces who recently won the WNBA championship 70-69, beating the New York Liberty. I had to Google all of this because I, like most of you, have no idea who Chelsea Gray is. Heck, I didn't even know the WNBA had a team in Las Vegas. This is because barely anyone watches the WNBA, but Chelsea Gray thinks calling one of the most popular sports personalities a "dumb-ss" was a good idea. Let's put it this way, the guy is willing to bet ONE MILLION BUCKS that a high school champion team can beat Chelsea Gray's team. You know what that means? That means Clay Travis makes more money than she does and she's a professional athlete! HA!

Just think, there's high school players who go straight to the NBA sometimes, that's how much better the boys are than the girls. Now imagine a team full of high school boys at that caliber going against the chicks on the WNBA team. Not trying to be mean, but those kids would DESTROY the WNBA champs. What's that thing they say... NO CAP!

Clay Travis' offer to Chelsea Gray was this: "I’ll put a million dollars on the line, your WNBA champion team against a 2024 high school boy’s state champion team of my choice. You guys win, you get a million bucks of my money, my team wins, you all pay me a million and I give it all to the boy’s high school team. You in?"
