Rep. Mike Johnson once made a bold statement that accused the FBI of using Twitter against Americans. Mike Johnson, who's now Speaker of the House, also said the government does not get to decide what speech is acceptable or true and that the speech should be protected no matter what political party anyone is from, therefore striking down censorship in every way when it comes to discourse. Mike Johnson said about the FBI and Twitter, that "Twitter was basically an FBI subsidiary before Elon Musk took it over..." and that "The Twitter files should be a matter of bipartisan concern for every member of Congress and every American citizen because it is a bedrock principle of our Constitution that the government does not get to decide what speech is acceptable or true."
