NY Democrat Jamaal Bowman to plead GUILTY, pay Maximum Fine
Democrat Rep. Jamaal Bowman will plead guilty to a misdemeanor after he was caught on video pulling a fire alarm in a congressional building last month. This took place on Capitol Hill and Bowman faces mounting levels of criticism to go with his criminal charge. He has agreed to pay the maximum fine of $1,000 which is for just one count of FALSELY pulling the fire alarm last month. His charge also has a maximum sentence of only six months in jail, according to a report on Trending Politics. The political crime article also stated that Bowman must write a formal apology to the Capitol police. The report also included quotes from Democrat Rep. Jamaal Bowman in which he says he would have the charges dropped soon: “I am responsible for activating a fire alarm, I will be paying the fine issued, and look forward to these charges being ultimately dropped"
