Leaked Trump audio involving 'secret document' identifies General Mark Milley by name

Leaked audio that's being used against former President Donald Trump over a 'secret document' also identifies General Mark Milley by name and might have him worried. The document, which may or may not be classified or declassified - we don't know because we don't have a copy of it, allegedly talks about a plan to attack Iran that was put in place by the military and they mention General Mark Milley. If this means anything bad for Milley, we don't know, but he's mentioned and it could cause some political drama.

Considering the leaked Trump audio is surfacing, it makes you wonder who's going around recording conversations like this. These are the secret recordings that cause people in politics to have absolutely zero trust for each other in many cases. AP did a report on the leaked Trump audio:

The recording, from a July 2021 interview Trump gave at his Bedminster, New Jersey, resort for people working on the memoir of his former chief of staff Mark Meadows, is a critical piece of evidence in special counsel Jack Smith’s indictment of Trump over the mishandling of classified information.

The special counsel’s indictment alleges that those in attendance at the meeting with Trump — including a writer, a publisher and two of Trump’s staff members — were shown classified information about a Pentagon plan of attack on an unspecified foreign country.

“These are the papers,” Trump says in a moment that seems to indicate he’s holding a secret Pentagon document with plans to attack Iran. “This was done by the military, given to me.”
