Charles Barkley and Shaq LOL hysterically after Anthony Davis leaves Lakers game in wheelchair for a head injury

This is the most Anthony Davis thing of Anthony Davis things. The Lakers player left game 5 against the Warriors with a head injury and was pushed away from the court in a wheelchair. It's alleged that he may have a concussion which would mean he must go into the NBA's protocol for concussions before playing game 6 - which would mean he would likely not be allowed in game 6, but it seems like there's no official report of his injury or mention of a concussion just yet. Some NBA fans are suggesting that the Lakers aren't saying it's a concussion so that Anthony Davis can play game six against the Warriors. The Lakers lead the series 3-2. Davis was hit in the head by Kevin Looney during a play.

When Charles Barkley and Shaquille O'Neal saw Anthony Davis leaving the game in a wheelchair, the pair of 'Inside the NBA' hosts couldn't stop laughing. Sporting News reported on the former NBA stars laughing about what they saw, most likely making a joke of Anthony Davis being injury-prone. The sports news article said:

While it was unclear at first what the pair were laughing about, once Kenny Smith adjusted in his seat — apparently conjuring images of someone wheeling a wheelchair — the whole situation makes a lot more sense.

TNT's Chris Haynes detailed Davis exit: After Davis was evaluated on the bench, he was brought to another room, where Davis was further evaluated. While in that room, Davis' "equilibrium was off," leading to a wheelchair taking him to the Lakers' locker room.

Davis was seen walking out of the arena following the game, so he ditched the wheelchair at some point.

The Warriors took the 121-106 Game 5 win to push the series back to Los Angeles, where the Lakers have an opportunity to close out Golden State at home. Whether or not they'll have Davis for the matchup is unclear.
