Former President Donald Trump was at a pizza place in Florida after giving a speech in Fort Myers. Trump was handing out slices and even asked if anyone wanted a piece he already ate, as a joke, but someone should have taken it and sold it on ebay!
Trump used part of his speech in Fort Myers to trash Florida's Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis, according to a Florida Politics news report:
At the Lee County Lincoln Reagan Dinner in Fort Myers, dinner was served before the former President spoke, but it was clear that for Trump, Ron DeSantis was the main course.
Trump noted he got “1.2 million more votes than your successful Governor’s campaign.”
Then he launched into mockery of DeSantis begging for his endorsement, for the first time at a home state event.
“Sir. I’d love to have your support, sir. I’d love to have your support. I’m down at about three percent. I’d love to have your support.”
