Dem leaders blame Walmart for closing 4 Chicago stores, Walmart had something else to say

Democrat political leaders in Chicago appear to blame Walmart for closing four of the stores, suggesting people won't have anywhere to work or buy food. Well, maybe if people actually got jobs and stopped stealing from Walmart, then maybe the Walmarts wouldn't be closing. When Walmart explained why they were closing four of the eight stores, it became very obvious that the stores probably stayed open longer than they should have.

Walmart issued a statement, as reported by Fox News Business, and part of the news article said this:

"The simplest explanation is that collectively our Chicago stores have not been profitable since we opened the first one nearly 17 years ago -- these stores lose tens of millions of dollars a year, and their annual losses nearly doubled in just the last five years," Walmart said in a statement.

"The remaining four Chicago stores continue to face the same business difficulties, but we think this decision gives us the best chance to help keep them open and serving the community," it added.
