San Francisco 49ers rookie wide receiver Ricky Pearsall was shot in the chest during a robbery. Pearsall was listed as being in serious, but stable condition. The 49ers asked for people to "respect his privacy" as he's in the hospital.
The suspect was also shot by accident. The suspect tried to rob Pearsall and Pearsall was shot in the chest. The suspect was shot during the struggle.
