BREAKING: US military shoots down 'reasonable threat' object over Alaskan airspace

The United States military shot down a "high-altitude object" that was flying in Alaskan airspace and over the Arctic waters according to National Security Council official John Kirby. He also said the Pentagon was tracking it for at least the last 24 hours and then decided it posed a reasonable threat, so they shot it down. They said the unidentified flying object was unmanned.

Kirby said to reporters: "The object was flying at an altitude of 40,000 feet and posed a reasonable threat to the safety of civilian flight... Out of an abundance of caution, and at the recommendation of the Pentagon, President Biden ordered the military to down the object and they did and it came inside our territorial waters and those waters right now are frozen."
