Bengals fans gather as Bills safety Damar Hamlin is in critical condition

Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin made a tackle against Cincinnati Bengals WR Tee Higgins, got up after the tackle, but then collapsed on the field right after. He remained down and medics rushed out, administered CPR, and eventually took him away in an ambulance while giving him oxygen. Hamlin was rushed to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. At least one reporter said on Twitter that Hamlin had a pulse, but was not yet breathing on his own. Hamlin is only 24-years-old.

Jordon Rooney, Damar's friend and marketing rep posted the following message on Hamlin's status: "Update on Damar: His vitals are back to normal and they have put him to sleep to put a breathing tube down his throat. They are currently running tests. We will provide updates as we have them."

Stefon Diggs reportedly ubered to the hospital and forced security to let him in to be with his teammate, said someone on ESPN. The Bills at Bengals game is suspended until further notice.
