Body camera video footage shows a police officer saying they told the Secret Service to have agents keep an eye on the roofs and area where the Trump shooter eventually set up his rifle and took shots at the former president. Trump was shot in the ear and was a mere centimeters or inches away from being killed on sight, but he survived. The man who shot Donald Trump and injured or killed others in the audience was shot dead on the rooftop from which he fired multiple rounds. The Secret Service took a lot of heat for their failures that day and then Director Kim Cheatle has since resigned.
