Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle ADMITS that they failed horribly that day, one of the worst failures in decades. At least she admits it, but many are still calling for her to resign. There's no room for mistakes when you're protecting a president or former president. One mistake can result in tragedy and IT DID result in someone losing their life that day. The Secret Service failed to protect people on July 13.
UPDATE JULY 23 - looks like Kim Cheatle has RESIGNED as Director of the Secret Service, per a report on ABC7 Chicago. She testified yesterday and was grilled by Republicans AND Democrats, facing mounting calls for her to step down. Kim Cheatle made it official today and has resigned from the Secret Service as the Director.
