Marvin Peavy and his MASSIVE Trump banners

You've probably seen these massive pro-Trump banners flying by now, as the man behind them has been doing this for YEARS and facing local legal battles over it. His name is Marvin Peavy and he's a proud Trump supporter who wants to display his views. Nothing wrong with that, unless you're the local person bitter about it and trying to fine him for it.

Who is Marvin Peavy?

My Pan Handle news website reported on him, saying the following about an incident with the Trump banners:

A new massive banner showing former President Donald Trump’s face is flying from the same home that went viral in Seagrove Beach in 2021.

At last check, 30A homeowner Marvin Peavy was going to court against Walton County code compliance for limiting his right to free speech.

Peavy was being fined daily by the county for hanging massive banners in support of Trump from his home.

The county said they went against property maintenance rules. The fines totaled more than $7,500.

Peavy told News 13, he expected a judge to rule on the case in early 2022 but no decision has been reached.

“You know, they’re taking their time. But, you know, as you well know, if we do lose, we’re going to fight it at the Florida Supreme Court, lose there then it’s the U.S Supreme Court. We’ve already written a brief we’re prepared to do what we got to do because we’re not in an HOA and we have rights in this world, in this country,” Peavy said.
