Steve Bannon is off to jail and Bill Barr was laughing during the conversation, sparking criticism from many people on social media. Just remember folks, Steve Bannon was linked to the 'We Build the Wall' scam where Americans were SCAMMED out of over $20 million. Bannon is going to jail now because of two counts of contempt of Congress, linked to the Jan 6 subpoena - which was a total sham to begin with, but he probably should've had a consequence for any alleged involvement in the 'we build the wall' scam.
In all honesty, anyone who defrauds Americans on the basis of doing good for this country, Bannon included, belongs in jail. The 'We Build the Wall' scam tore apart the trust Americans have in people who donate. Doing good for your country shouldn't involve fraud. They should've just given themselves a paycheck out of it, but they wanted to be shady and it was beyond stupid what they did. Now people are in jail for it. Just remember that part of history before you blindly defend anyone just because they're a 'patriot' - not everyone really cares, some just like money. The 'we build the wall' folks took advantage of REAL American patriots who are passionate about OUR country and tried to keep some of the money for themselves.
